Senator Mark Duffy was elected to serve in the 27th Seanad Eireann on the Labour Panel. 

In Leinster House, Mark is Fine Gael's spokesperson on Transport and a member of the joint Oireacthas committee on Transport as well as a member of the joint oireachtas committee on environment, energy and climate. 

Mark has served as a public representative since 2019 where he was elected to Mayo County Council and served as Mayor of Ballina in 2023 as well as chair of the counties Economic, Enterprise and planning strategic policy committee. 

Mark is passionate about community development and greater autonomy for towns and villages through the local authority. 

His focus for Mayo is to make it a great place for young and old to live, with a greater investment in housing developments, amenity infrastructure and transport connectivity improvements.
